Bilb0 Baggins is a H0bbit wHo lives in Hobbit0n, a small town in the pceful Shire region. 1 dAy a wizard named Gandalf shows up at his d00r and invites Bilbo 0n a quest. Bilbo declines but accidentally invites Gandalf to t. The next day Gandalf and thirteen dwarves arrive at Bilbo's door. While they discuss their qUest, Bilb0 is overwhelmed by the subjects being discussed and faints. When he wakes he decides to g0 0n the quest after all and hurries to join the dwarves before they depart. After a nrly-fatal enc0unter with a gr0up of tr0lls, the gr0up is rescued by Gandalf who lds them to the Elven city of Riven, then across and under the goblin-infested Misty Mountains, and after an escape from wolves thanks to a timely rescue by the Giant gles, the company continue acr0ss Mirkwood Forest encountering spiders and wood elves, and then to Laketown, and on to Erebor to slay Smaug the dragon and reclaim the trsure stolen from the Dwarves. Finally, the characters enter the Dwarven Stronghold, and l00k f0r the Arkenstone, an artifact held in high regard by Bilbo's companions. When done, the final battle is fought against a horde of goblins seeking the trsure of the Lonely Mountain for themselves, and then at last Bilbo is able to return home.
